About The Position

This is a Locum Tenens position for a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Obstetrics & Gynecology. The role involves providing clinical coverage in both outpatient and inpatient settings. The NP will serve as first assist in gynecologic surgeries, including robotic-assisted procedures using the Da Vinci surgical system. Responsibilities also include performing comprehensive pelvic exams, managing a patient caseload in clinic, collaborating with the GYN oncology team, and maintaining thorough documentation in the Epic EMR system across two hospital sites. Coverage is needed ASAP through April 30, 2027, with a schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, 7 am - 5 pm).

Requirements

Board Certified (BC)
Active WA license accepted (Universal License - IMLC)
DEA required
BLS, ACLS, ATLS certifications
Minimum 3 years post-residency preferred
GYN First-Assisting experience required
Robotic surgery (Da Vinci) proficiency required
Pelvic exam competency required
EMR proficiency (Epic) required
Clean files only – no settlements, DUIs, drug issues, restrictions, terminations, or Medical Board actions

Ability to be taught by GYN Oncology specialists for complex procedures.

Responsibilities

Serve as first assist in gynecologic surgeries, including robotic-assisted procedures using the Da Vinci surgical system.
Perform comprehensive pelvic exams and provide direct patient care in both inpatient and gynecologic settings.
Manage a patient caseload in clinic on designated admin/clinic days, including post-operative follow-ups and new patient evaluations.
Collaborate with GYN oncology team on surgical cases, participating in complex oncologic procedures as needed.
Maintain thorough documentation in Epic EMR and coordinate care with attending physicians, nursing staff, and advanced practice providers across two hospital sites.
