About The Position

Bassett Healthcare Network, in central New York, is seeking a BC/BE General Obstetrician/Gynecologist to join our staff. This role involves joining an established group of 8 Physicians, 9 Advanced Practice Clinicians (APC), and 9 Certified Nurse Midwives (CNM) in a collegial working environment with a group employed model. The position requires minimal invasive GYN surgical skills (vaginal, laparoscopic, or robotic) and includes general Gynecology clinic work. Advanced hysteroscopy and laparoscopic surgeries are available, including DaVinci robot. UroGyn and GynOnc services are also available. Regional travel to outreach clinics is expected 1-2 days per week. For Obstetrics, there are 1-2 (12hr) inpatient call shifts per month to maintain obstetrical skills. The facility has an established OB Hospitalist group providing regular inpatient coverage along with 24-hr Midwifery coverage. The role utilizes an integrated EPIC Electronic Health Record and supports Medical school and Rural Surgery residency programs. There is an academic appointment available with the Columbia University medical school campus.

Requirements

MD, DO or MBBS
BC/BE
Completion of an accredited USA OBGYN Residency
New York State Licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
BLS Certification Required
DEA Required
Minimal invasive GYN surgical skills (vaginal, laparoscopic, or robotic)
