About The Position
Care New England and The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University are seeking an Obstetrician/Gynecologist to provide full-scope OB/GYN care across two clinical sites and help train the next generation of physicians. The role includes a faculty appointment with Brown University's Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology and teaching and supervising residents and medical students in academic and community settings. The clinical practice includes labor and delivery, surgery, ambulatory care, and Women's Emergency Care, with collaboration from Women & Infants subspecialists. The system uses an integrated EPIC EMR. The position practices at Women & Infants Hospital, a nationally recognized center for women's and newborn care with a large obstetrical service and single-family NICUs, and at Women & Infants @ Kent Hospital, a community teaching hospital with modern labor, delivery, and recovery rooms and dedicated obstetric operating rooms. Care New England is a mission-driven system affiliated with Brown University and the University of New England College of Medicine, offering clinical services and teaching programs across multiple specialties.
Responsibilities
- Provide full-scope obstetric and gynecologic care across two clinical sites.
- Teach and supervise residents and medical students in academic and community settings.
- Provide care in labor and delivery, surgery, ambulatory care, and Women's Emergency Care.
- Collaborate with Women & Infants subspecialists.
