About The Position

As an OB/GYN physician, you will work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience. This OB/GYN will join Avenues Women's Center, serving patients in Salt Lake City & Bountiful. We are an established team of 8 OB/GYN physicians, 5 advanced practice providers, and an experienced collegial support staff of RNs, MAs, ultrasound techs and more. This role involves a 4-day work week, split between clinic and surgical responsibilities. Clinic time will primarily be at Avenues Clinic on the campus of LDS Hospital, with additional time at the Bountiful Clinic 2-4 days per month. Unrestricted call is anticipated to be 1:7. All deliveries and surgeries will take place at LDS Hospital, which features a 12-bed labor & delivery unit averaging just under 2,000 deliveries annually. The hospital also has a Level II NICU and MFM clinic on site, with MFM & Neonatologist support available via telehealth 24/7. Obstetric Hospitalists and Anesthesiologists are on site 24/7. The Surgical Center includes access to Da Vinci Robotics, and OB/GYN physicians often co-scrub and assist each other in the OR.

Requirements

MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine
Residency training in OB/GYN
Board certification or eligibility in OB/GYN
Active, unobstructed Utah medical license, or the ability to obtain one
Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process
Candidates requiring Visa sponsorship will be reviewed on an individual basis

Responsibilities

Provide quality care and an excellent patient experience as an OB/GYN physician.
Work within a team of healthcare professionals at Avenues Women's Center.
Serve patients in Salt Lake City & Bountiful.
Split work between clinic and surgical responsibilities.
Attend to clinic duties primarily at Avenues Clinic on the campus of LDS Hospital.
Work at the Bountiful Clinic 2-4 days per month.
Participate in an anticipated 1:7 call schedule.
Perform deliveries and surgeries at LDS Hospital.
Collaborate with other OB/GYN physicians, co-scrubbing and assisting in the OR when needed.
