About The Position
Mayo Clinic Health System in Austin, MN is seeking a BC/BE OB/GYN physician to join their current group in Austin and Albert Lea. This role involves providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in a collaborative, team-based approach with other OBGYNs, Family Medicine Providers, and Midlevel providers (CNM and NP). The position supports high-risk obstetrical patients and gynecologic patients, with subspecialty services available at Mayo Clinic Rochester. Teaching opportunities for medical students, PA, NP, and CNM students, as well as OBGYN residents, are available and encouraged. The Austin Birthing Center delivers over 600 babies per year and is consistently ranked as high performing by US news and world report. This is an excellent opportunity to practice the full scope of OBGYN within a collaborative team with ample opportunities for professional growth.
Requirements
- Board Eligible or Board Certified (BE/BC) in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Minnesota Medical License

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care.
- Work in a collaborative and team-based approach with other OBGYNs, Family Medicine Providers, and Midlevel providers.
- Support high-risk obstetrical patients and gynecologic patients.
- Utilize the Intuitive Da Vinci Xi Robotic surgery platform.
- Perform Office Hysteroscopy.
- Engage in research and leadership growth opportunities.
- Provide support for first call with Family Medicine and midwives.
- Collaborate with Mayo Clinic in Rochester for high-risk OB care and gyn subspecialty care.
- Teach medical students, PA, NP, and CNM students, as well as OBGYN residents.
- Engage in committees and network with consultants.
