About The Position
We are seeking a Board Certified OBGYN Physician for a Locum Tenens position in Lansing, MI. This inpatient role requires clinical and call coverage from September 25, 2026, to January 02, 2027. The physician will provide 24/7 hospital coverage during call weeks, managing Labor & Delivery, the Emergency Department, and surgical services. The average daily volume is 4 deliveries. The facility utilizes the Cerner EMR system and has 2 APPs providing support. Hospital privileges are required.
Requirements
- Board Certified (BC)
- Valid MI License
- Minimum 2 years of experience in OB/GYN
- Hospital Privileges Required

Responsibilities
- Provide 24/7 hospital coverage for Labor & Delivery, Emergency Department, and Surgical services during call weeks.
- Perform surgical procedures including C-sections, VBACs, and repair of complex lacerations.
- Manage acute/urgent surgical needs and provide OB ultrasound and amniocentesis.
- Conduct emergent clinic consults to determine the necessity of hospital admission.
- Collaborate with a team of NPs to ensure comprehensive patient care.
