About The Position
The OB Tech provides assistance to nursing staff and physicians in patient-care and non-patient-care activities. The role supports customer service and helps maintain a safe, organized work environment by performing department-related clerical, housekeeping, and supply, equipment, and facility maintenance tasks. The OB Tech also supports patient-care activities and responds to emergencies as directed by the Registered Nurse, in accordance with applicable standards. This part-time position is in the Birth Center and is scheduled for first shift, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for 24 hours per week. The schedule includes rotating weekends and holidays. No experience is required.
Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant licensure or registration.
- Basic Life Support training.
- High school graduation or equivalent.
- No experience required.
Nice To Haves
- Training in word processing, spreadsheets, and medical terminology.
