About The Position

The OB Tech provides assistance to nursing staff and physicians in patient care and non-patient care activities. The role performs tasks in a caring and efficient manner to support customer service and maintain a safe, organized work environment. The position is in the Birth Center and is part time at 0.6 FTE, or 24 hours per week, on the first shift from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with rotating weekends and holidays.
Requirements
- Certified Nursing Assistant credential.
- Basic Life Support training.
- High school graduation or equivalent.
- No experience required.
Nice To Haves

- Medical terminology.
Responsibilities
- Assist with department-related clerical tasks.
- Perform housekeeping tasks.
- Maintain supplies, equipment, and facilities.
- Support patient care activities.
- Respond to emergencies as directed by the Registered Nurse.
- Perform work that supports customer service and maintains a safe, organized work environment.
