About The Position
Greater Regional Health is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for its Obstetrics Department to provide direct care for labor and delivery patients. The nurse will float to the Medical-Surgical department when the OB department is not busy. The role focuses on patient-centered, quality care and requires nursing practice grounded in professional standards, ethical principles, and appropriate judgment. The position requires a current Iowa RN license. OB experience is preferred but not required. Preferred licensure or certifications include NRP, STABLE, BLS, and Basic and Advanced Fetal Monitoring. The job offers a competitive base wage based on experience and benefits. A clinical recruiting bonus of $25,000 is available to eligible new employees, paid in five installments over four years, subject to the stated eligibility terms. Requirements

Responsibilities
- Anticipate, identify, and respond to the needs of patients and families.
- Assess, plan, and implement nursing care while ensuring patient comfort.
- Provide patient care during admission and discharge.
- Practice according to nursing standards and ethical principles, using appropriate professional judgment.
- Float to Medical-Surgical when the OB department is not busy.
