About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for an OB Hospitalist in Loxahatchee, FL. The role involves providing inpatient coverage on a call-only basis, with 24-hour in-house shifts. The facility handles approximately 1800 annual deliveries and 3200 triage encounters. Specialty backup is available from MFMs, Neonatologists, and Pediatric subspecialists, and the facility has a Level III NICU.
Requirements
- Board Certified in OB/GYN
- Active FL License (preferred) or Universal License (IMLC)
- Minimum 1 year recent clinical experience
- Minimum 50 deliveries within last 24 months
- CV with gaps explained
- Prescreen Questionnaire
Responsibilities
- Provide OB triage and patient management
- Perform deliveries and surgical assists
- Monitor fetal heart tracings
- Provide ER coverage for OB/GYN emergencies
- Collaborate with Level III NICU, MFMs, and Neonatologists
