About The Position

We are looking for an OB/GYN Hospitalist who wants to focus on hospital-based obstetric care while working within a collaborative, privately owned, physician-led organization with a growing hospitalist presence in Arizona. This opportunity is designed for an OB/GYN who enjoys hospital-based medicine and wants to be an important part of a team coverage model. Depending on the hospital contract, you may provide obstetric hospitalist coverage, support office-based OB/GYNs, pick up call coverage, or help manage coverage at a secondary hospital. The organization works with multiple hospitals and continues to pursue new hospitalist programs. A newly awarded program could create several physician openings on a relatively short timeline, making this a strong opportunity for physicians interested in joining and helping establish a growing coverage team. Specific responsibilities—including delivery volume, GYN emergencies, high-risk obstetrics, procedures, shift structure, and clinical support—will be confirmed for each hospital program.

  • MD or DO
  • Completed accredited OB/GYN residency training
  • Board certified or board eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
  • Board-eligible physicians must meet applicable certification timelines

  • Evaluate and manage patients presenting for obstetric care
  • Provide deliveries and other procedures within the scope of the hospitalist program

  • Support office-based OB/GYN physicians through hospital and call coverage
  • Provide overflow or secondary-hospital coverage when required
