About The Position

Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire, WI is seeking a BC/BE OB/GYN physician to join their practice as an OB Hospitalist/Nocturnist. This role involves providing support for both obstetrical patients and gynecologic patients requiring emergency care. The practice is a collegial group of 12 OB/GYNs, 10 CNMs, 2 nurse practitioners, and 1 PA, with subspecialty care available in urogynecology, gynecology oncology, and complex gynecologic surgery. Additional subspecialty services can be accessed from Mayo Rochester in MFM, and reproductive endocrine and infertility. Consultations from other specialties are also readily available. Teaching medical students, PA, NP, and CNM students, as well as Family medicine and OBGYN residents, is an expected part of the role. A full-time OB Hospitalist/Nocturnist works 161 12-hour shifts per year, with most shifts being at night. The position offers flexibility for a straight night position (7 nights on, at least 7 days off for 23 weeks/year) or a blend. The night call provider is not responsible for office coverage or scheduled gyn surgery during the day. The practice delivers approximately 1,400 babies per year and is located in Eau Claire, WI, a fast-growing community.

Requirements

Board-Eligible/Board Certified (BE/BC) in Obstetrics & Gynecology
Wisconsin Medical License

Responsibilities
