About The Position

Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire, WI is seeking a BC/BE OB/GYN physician to join their practice as an OB Hospitalist/Nocturnist. This is a collegial practice that utilizes an integrated team approach, with primary delivery support provided by a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) team. The role involves providing support for both obstetrical and gynecologic patients requiring emergency care. Subspecialty services are available from Mayo Rochester in Maternal-Fetal Medicine (MFM), and reproductive endocrine and infertility. Consultations are also readily available from other specialties. Teaching medical students, PA, NP, and CNM students, as well as Family Medicine and OBGYN residents, is an expected part of the role. The position offers flexibility for a straight night schedule with 7 nights on followed by at least 7 days off, for a total of 23 weeks per year, or a blended schedule could be considered. The night call provider is not responsible for office coverage or scheduled gynecologic surgery during the day. The practice delivers approximately 1,400 babies per year and is located in Eau Claire, WI, a fast-growing community.

Requirements

• Board-Eligible/Board Certified (BE/BC) in Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Wisconsin Medical License
