OB/GYN Physician
About The Position
Mercy Medical Group is seeking an OB/GYN Physician to join its established, growing multi-specialty group in the Sacramento, California area. The role provides a balanced 50/50 mix of obstetrics and gynecology, with the incoming physician primarily based at Methodist Hospital of Sacramento, which has a Level 2 NICU. The physician will manage obstetric and gynecological cases and collaborate with experienced physicians to provide continuity of care. Robotics are available but not required, and call is 1:9. The position offers full-time or part-time options and a long-term career path with growth potential, including a shareholder track. Eligible new hires may receive a sign-on bonus. Compensation is listed at $370,000–$392,000 per year, with bonus potential and opportunities for additional call pay. Additional income may be available through hospitalist and back-up shifts at regional hospitals.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in OB/GYN through ABMS or AOA.
- Active or eligible California medical license.
- DEA certification.
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to compassionate, high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
