About The Position

Mid America Physician Services (MAPS), an affiliate of Unified Women's Healthcare, is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN Physician to join a long-established women's healthcare practice on the campus of Centerpoint Medical Center. The physician will join a physician-led private practice with six OB/GYN physicians, one WHNP, and one CNM. The practice offers mentorship, clinical autonomy, partnership potential, career development, and a collaborative patient-care environment.

The position has a four-day work week with a dedicated day off and shared 1:6 to 1:7 call taken from home. The office is connected to the hospital campus; deliveries and surgeries are performed at Centerpoint Medical Center, which offers a Level III NICU, robotic-assisted surgery, and comprehensive women's healthcare support. The practice has access to a full range of women's health specialty support.

The role is located in the Kansas City metropolitan area, with a stated 15- to 20-minute commute from communities including Lee's Summit and Blue Springs, and access to downtown Kansas City and local amenities. The practice is affiliated with Unified Women's Healthcare, which provides operational, recruiting, and business support while physician governance and clinical decision-making remain with physicians.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN.
• Current unrestricted medical license or ability to obtain one.
• Current unrestricted DEA license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide OB/GYN care as part of a collaborative women's healthcare practice.
• Perform deliveries and surgeries at Centerpoint Medical Center.
• Participate in shared call coverage, approximately 1:6 to 1:7, with call taken from home.
