About The Position

Unified Women's Healthcare is hiring a full-time OB/GYN for its affiliated practice, Tidewater Physicians for Women, a division of Mid-Atlantic Women’s Care and a Unified medical affiliate with offices in Virginia Beach and Norfolk, Virginia. The practice provides comprehensive gynecologic and obstetrical services to women from adolescence through childbearing and menopause in Virginia Beach, Norfolk, and the Hampton Roads area. The well-established clinic includes 12 OB/GYN physicians, four advanced practice providers, and a mental health counselor. The position offers a call schedule of 3–4 days per month, blocked operating room time, robotic surgery, and in-office procedures. The practice is affiliated with Sentara Leigh Hospital, which averages 100 deliveries per month, and has a fully licensed medical team and support staff. Unified Women's Healthcare is affiliated with a physician-owned OB/GYN practice network with more than 925 affiliated practices and 2,700+ providers. The network offers a range of practice settings and career opportunities. Physician governance and clinical decision-making remain the exclusive domain of physicians, while Unified supports affiliates with business resources, tools, training, and practice support.

Requirements

Board certified or board eligible in OB/GYN.
Current unrestricted state medical license.
Current unrestricted DEA license or ability to obtain one.

Nice To Haves

Applicants with fellowship training in Family Planning, MIGS, OB/GYN Hospitalist, or Global Women's Health are welcome.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive gynecologic and obstetrical care to patients across different stages of life.
Perform robotic surgery and in-office procedures.
Participate in the call schedule, approximately 3–4 days per month.
