About The Position

Unified Women’s Healthcare is seeking a full-time Laborist to join River and Coast Women’s Care, serving communities in Northeast Florida. The position may suit physicians seeking variety and flexibility across clinic and hospital-based practice. The practice is a well-established, patient-centered group providing comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in a collaborative environment. The physician will support one hospital site. Work arrangements may be part time, full time (seven 24-hour shifts per month), or a hybrid of office and laborist shifts, potentially including office days, a dedicated surgery day, and laborist shifts. The practice describes its culture as supportive, collegial, and dedicated to work-life balance. The role is open to new graduates and experienced physicians and offers a partnership-track opportunity. Unified Women’s Healthcare is affiliated with a national physician-owned Ob-Gyn practice network. Physician governance and clinical decision-making remain exclusively with physicians, while the company provides business support, tools, training, and practice resources. The position is based in the St. Johns area of Northeast Florida, which offers nearby beaches, golf courses, outdoor recreation, local schools, and access to Jacksonville and St. Augustine.

Requirements

Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible (BE/BC) in the relevant specialty.

Responsibilities
