About The Position

MercyOne Genesis Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Obstetrics & Gynecology physician to join its established practice in Silvis, Illinois. The full-time employed opportunity offers full-spectrum OB/GYN care in a busy practice with immediate patient volume. The practice uses a patient- and family-centered, team-based collaborative care model and provides care close to home. The outpatient clinic is on campus, steps from labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum (LDRP), and is supported by experienced staff and additional clinic rotations. The physician will spend one half-day per week in partnership with a local federally qualified health center providing safety-net care. The practice has approximately 600 births annually, 16 LDRP rooms, a dedicated surgical suite with robot access, an onsite Level II Nursery, and onsite ultrasound. An OB/GYN hospitalist provides call support; physicians may cover their own after-hours deliveries or sign out to the hospitalist. The physician-led medical group promotes leadership, wellness, and work-life balance. The role offers autonomy to build a practice while benefiting from employment in a medical group and a cohesive team environment. The recruitment package includes a two-year income guarantee of $400,000 plus productivity incentive, a $100,000 commencement bonus, eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness, relocation allowance up to $15,000, four weeks of vacation, one week of CME, six paid holidays, a $6,000 CME allowance, malpractice coverage, and health, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k) with match, and 457(b) benefits starting on the first day of employment.

Requirements

MD or DO degree.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
Ability to obtain and maintain an unrestricted Illinois medical license.
Current, unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications appropriate to the physician’s field of practice.
Eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Provide full-spectrum obstetrics and gynecology care in an established, busy practice.
Participate in outpatient clinic care, including one half-day per week in partnership with a local FQHC providing safety-net care.
Provide obstetric care and determine whether to cover after-hours deliveries or sign out to the onsite OB/GYN hospitalist.
Perform or participate in gynecologic surgery using the dedicated surgical suite, with access to a robot.
