About The Position

Our affiliate, Unified Women’s Healthcare of North Carolina, is looking for an Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to join their prestigious Women's Health Care Center in Asheville, NC. Join a compassionate group who provide a team approach to patient care. Every member of our staff is focused on making the patient experience in our office individualized and meaningful. Experienced physicians and residents are encouraged to apply! The practice consists of a 5-member physician team with one of them functioning as a hospitalist along with an excellent support staff. This is an established practice with a great reputation for patient care that has been serving woman in the Asheville metro area for over 40 years. Deliveries and GYN surgical procedures are performed at Memorial Mission Hospital which has 24-hour anesthesia and high-risk maternal medicine services. In addition, Memorial Mission Hospital has a Level 3 NICU unit and the da Vinci robotic system for specialized GYN surgeries. This is a great opportunity for a resident physician to join an experienced group that can provide solid mentorship and a smooth transition to private practice. Also, this would be a great position for an experienced physician looking to take their career to the next level.

Responsibilities

Deliveries and GYN surgical procedures are performed at Memorial Mission Hospital
Physicians do many minimally invasive surgical procedures in the office
1 weekday per month of call and 1 weekend of call coverage per month
