The Physician Assistant (PA) is a licensed provider responsible for the assessment and management of various patient populations, both medical and surgical. This includes diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, developing appropriate plans of care, and ongoing evaluation. The PA will practice in accordance with all state and federal regulations and institutional policies, including the BWH PA Scope of Practice, Prescriptive Guidelines, approved clinical privileges, and BWH PA policy. Within the Brigham Obstetrics & Gynecology Group (BOGG), the PA functions as part of the care team, supporting attending physicians, fellows, and residents in the medical management of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This per diem role involves postpartum rounding or providing care in the outpatient setting for obstetric and gynecology patients.
