The Physician Assistant (PA) is a licensed provider responsible for the assessment and management of various patient populations, both medical and surgical, including diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, development of appropriate plans of care, and ongoing evaluation. The PA will perform in accordance with all state and federal regulations and institutional policies. Within the Brigham Obstetrics & Gynecology Group (BOGG), the PA is part of the care team, supporting attending physicians, fellows, and residents in the medical management of patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. This role includes postpartum rounding or providing care in the outpatient setting for obstetric and gynecology patients as a per diem.
