About The Position

Bassett Healthcare Network, a progressive, academic health system in central New York, is seeking an experienced Women’s Health Physician Assistant to join an expanding division serving OB/GYN patients in our growing network. This is a hospital-employed, evidence-based practice within an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region. The role involves a combination of outpatient GYN and surgical first assist in OBGYN OR. The practice offers a collegial working environment with a group employed model and a focus on practitioner well-being, including virtual scribes and in-basket coverage.

Requirements

• National Certification as a Physician Assistant
• New York State Licensure (or eligibility to obtain)
• BLS Certification Required
• DEA Required

Nice To Haves

• Women's Health and/or surgical experience preferred but not necessary

Responsibilities

• Practice within Bassett Healthcare Network, an integrated system delivering care across an 8-county region
• Combination of outpatient GYN and Surgical 1st assist in OBGYN OR
• 36 hours work week with 4 hours of administrative time per week
