OB-GYN Hospitalist | Multiple Texas Locations

About The Position

A growing women’s health organization is seeking board-certified or board-eligible OB-GYN hospitalists for opportunities in Texas. Current locations include: Arlington/Dallas–Fort Worth and Beaumont. This position is built for an OB-GYN physician who wants to remain closely involved in labor, delivery, and urgent gynecologic care without maintaining an outpatient panel or carrying the administrative responsibilities of a traditional private practice. The hospitalist works within a collaborative, midwife-led care model supported by in-house Certified Nurse Midwives, nursing teams, anesthesia providers, hospital staff, and clinical leadership. The hospitalist model includes seven 24-hour shifts per month, no outpatient clinic responsibilities, and no RVU or productivity requirements. Certified Nurse Midwives provide in-house coverage and take first call. There is a dedicated, team-based inpatient support structure, predictable time away from work, and operational, administrative, and clinical leadership support. The ability to focus on hospital-based obstetrics and urgent gynecologic care is a key feature. Specific schedules, hospital partners, patient volumes, and coverage arrangements will be reviewed during the interview process.
