About The Position

Responsible for the operation of diagnostic ultrasound equipment for the performance of obstetrical and gynecological ultrasound procedures at a technical level not requiring direct supervision. Performs examinations in accordance with established protocols to assist physicians in the diagnosis and management of maternal and fetal conditions.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
Credentialed by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) with specialty certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) or registry eligible with certification obtained within the timeframe established by the organization.
Current BLS certification required.
Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to concentrate on fine detail with constant interruption.
Ability to attend to tasks for 45 to 60 minutes at a time.

Nice To Haves

Minimum one year’s experience in Obstetrical and Gynecological Sonography.
Experience performing routine and high-risk obstetrical examinations, fetal anatomy surveys, biophysical profiles, first-trimester studies, and gynecologic ultrasound procedures.
