We are currently recruiting an experienced Sonographer to join our AIUM accredited care center as a PRN staff in East Brunswick Piscataway and Edison locations.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience performing Obstetrical and GYN scanning.
- Degree/certificate from an accredited ultrasound program.
- Current RDMS, NT and CPR certifications.
- Perinatal experience.
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of CPT coding and eClinicalWorks (EMR) are beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Performs routine, diagnostic, gynecological, and obstetric ultrasound examinations.
- Interacts with medical staff to ensure safe, high-quality care; positions patients; and explains procedures for optimal results.
- Adheres to established protocols, infection control standards, and proper probe handling.
- equipment maintenance, and supply inventory.
- Maintains records and reports while providing flexible, responsive customer service.
- Performs other assigned tasks as needed.
