About The Position

Citizens Memorial Hospital is hiring a PRN Nutritional Services Worker for its Nutritional Services Department in Bolivar, Missouri. The role is based at a 111-bed long-term care facility that provides transitional and long-term skilled nursing care, including care for people in the early stages of dementia. The position works evenings, with listed hours of 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

The worker helps maintain a clean workspace, uses the dishwasher, communicates with residents and meal service, assists with salad bar and dessert preparation, serves residents at meals, stocks incoming food shipments, and follows proper sanitation practices. Cook duties include updating menu boards, following menus and recipes, maintaining appropriate food temperatures, working with two nutritional aides, communicating with coworkers and other departments and residents’ family members, preparing and passing drinks and meals in the dining room, greeting and serving customers positively, and restocking kitchen, dining room, pantry, and break room supplies.

Requirements

• Communication skills.
• Family and Friends CPR certification within six months of employment.
• Ability to stand for 90% of the day and sit for the remaining 10%.

Nice To Haves

• Experience is preferred; training will be provided.
• For cook duties, a Food Handlers License is required; assistance obtaining one is available.

Responsibilities
