About The Position

The Nutritional Services Technician II (Cook) prepares and serves meals while maintaining high standards of sanitation, safety, and confidentiality. The role supports patient and cafeteria meal service, operates food service equipment, handles patient orders, assembles trays, communicates dietary needs, maintains records, and follows food safety protocols. The technician also cooks and prepares meals for patients and residents, opens and closes the cafeteria, serves customers, manages vendor supplies, and provides excellent customer service.

Requirements

• High school diploma preferred.
• Serv-Safe Certification preferred.
• Ability to perform the physical activities described, including extensive standing, a full range of body motion, and some heavy lifting.
• Ability to work around areas and equipment with abnormal temperatures.
