About The Position
Finger Lakes Health is hiring Nutritional Services Aides at Geneva General Hospital. The role supports the patient experience by helping ensure meals are accurate, appealing, and prepared according to patients’ dietary needs. Opportunities are available full-time and per diem. No previous experience or education is required; applicants must be at least 16 years old. High school diploma or GED and food service experience are preferred but not required. Responsibilities
- Follow production and supply sheets to prepare appropriate quantities of menu items.
- Meet established production schedules while maintaining quality and minimizing food waste.
- Follow portion-control guidelines to ensure consistency and quality.
- Prepare neat, clean, and appealing meal trays.
- Accurately follow patient diet orders and tray notes.
- Pay close attention to detail when preparing and assembling patient meals.
- Work collaboratively with the Nutritional Services team to provide excellent service to patients.
