Nutritional Aide
About The Position
Mirabella Portland is seeking a Nutritional Aide I to provide a hospitality-focused dining experience for residents in the community’s health center. The role involves assembling and serving meals while attending to residents’ individual needs and preferences, including allergies, texture modifications, and therapeutic diets. The aide helps ensure meals are served accurately, safely, and on time and follows food safety, sanitation, and standardized service procedures. No prior experience is needed; training is provided. A positive attitude and willingness to learn and contribute are sought.
Requirements
- A valid Food Handlers card is required.
- Bring a positive attitude, energy, ambition to grow and learn, and ideas to improve the team.
Nice To Haves
- ServSafe Food Safety Manager certificate.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and serve meals to health center residents, considering individual needs and preferences.
- Pay close attention to resident safety, including allergies, texture modifications, and therapeutic diets.
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow standardized steps of service as directed by the Nutritional Services leadership team.
- Ensure regular and therapeutic diets are served accurately, safely, and on time.
