About The Position

This is an Associate Instructor Pool for Nutritional Science/Dietetics for the 2026-2027 academic year. The role requires an individual with sensitivity and understanding of the diverse backgrounds of community college students.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or dietetics and food administration.
• OR bachelor’s degree in any of the above AND master’s degree in chemistry, public health, or family and consumer studies/home economics.
• OR bachelor’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or dietetics and food administration AND certification as a registered dietitian that is valid in the State of California.
• OR a valid appropriate California Community College Credential in the discipline area.
• OR the equivalent.
• Have sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
