About The Position

This is an applicant pool for Political Science Associate Instructor positions for the 2026-2027 academic year. The role requires a sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in political science, government, or international relations.
• OR bachelor’s degree in any of the above AND master’s degree in economics, history, public administration, social science, sociology, any ethnic studies, J.D., or LL.B.
• OR a valid appropriate California Community College Credential in the discipline area.
• OR the equivalent.
• Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of community college students.
