About The Position

Performs a wide variety of tasks related to preparing, serving, and storing food for patient and non-patient services, as well as cleaning and maintaining the sanitary condition of wares, equipment, and work areas. This is an enterprise position. As needed, the employee is expected to accept work assignments across departments, at El Camino Hospital campuses in Mountain View and Los Gatos, or at locations within a 15-mile radius. Must be available to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of work experience; healthcare food service experience is preferred.
• Must be available to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand for the majority of the shift and frequently lift up to 35 pounds; work also involves sitting, kneeling, climbing, and squatting.
