EKG Tech I - 0.5 - Days - ECG @ MV
About The Position
Following established El Camino Health guidelines, the EKG Technician records electrocardiograms and sets up Holter Monitors and Signal Average EKGs for inpatients, outpatients, and the Emergency Department, as ordered by the attending physician. This is an enterprise position; as needed, the technician will accept work assignments across departments, El Camino Hospital campuses in Mountain View and Los Gatos, or locations within a 15-mile radius. The position is 0.5 FTE, with 40 scheduled bi-weekly hours, and works an eight-hour day shift. The salary range is $38.45–$48.64 per hour.
Requirements
- Two years of college or enrollment in an accredited Medical Technology program.
- At least one year of clinical experience in EKG and/or EKG externship certification.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Basic CPR certification.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Holter Monitor and Signal Average EKG.
- Computer and/or typing skills.
