About The Position
Provides quality customer service as a Nutritional Services liaison to patients and staff. Collects patient menus and food preferences; delivers and retrieves patient meal trays and nourishments; maintains the nourishment area on the unit; and enters and retrieves patient food data using the EMR and diet office software system. Communicates with diet clerks, clinical dietitians, and nursing unit staff to provide excellent food service to patients. This is an enterprise position, and the employee may be expected, as needed, to accept work assignments across departments, at El Camino Hospital campuses in Mountain View and Los Gatos, or at locations within a 15-mile radius.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Documented proficiency using basic MS Office applications and Outlook software.
- Excellent hospitality and customer service skills.
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written instructions in English.

- Previous related experience preferred.
