About The Position

The Nutrition Services Kitchen Assistant supports meal preparation and service for students and staff, and helps maintain clean, organized kitchen and cafeteria areas. The role follows food safety and sanitation guidelines, assists with inventory and restocking, and works with nutrition services staff to support smooth daily operations.

This full-time contract position is located in Walla Walla, Washington. The schedule is 6.5 hours per day, five days per week. The position starts ASAP and ends at the end of the school year. Compensation is $19.00–$22.00 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements

• Ability to follow directions and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior food service or kitchen experience is helpful but not required.
