About The Position
The Nutrition Services Assistant helps provide high-quality, nutritious food to patients and customers by performing tasks that support daily facility operations. Duties may include food service and preparation, inventory monitoring, dishwashing, general cleaning, and stocking food service areas. The role also supports setup and service in patient service areas, including customer interaction and cash handling. The position is 0.6 FTE and works a day/evening rotation, including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Provide food service and prepare food for patients and customers.
- Monitor inventory.
- Perform dishwashing and general cleaning tasks.
- Stock food service areas.
- Set up and provide service in patient service areas.
- Interact with customers and handle cash.
