About The Position

The Nutrition Services Dishwasher works in the Nutrition Patient Services department at Blodgett Hospital. Responsibilities

• Develop, communicate, and uphold organizational procedures and policies; ensure staff are trained and comply with established standards.
• Oversee and deliver comprehensive training for new Nutrition Services hires in diet standards, food safety, patient-focused service, and workflows including the Call Center, Trayline, Tray Delivery, Dish Room, and Nourishments.
• Be prepared to assist as department lead when needed, providing oversight and support for smooth daily operations.
• Answer inquiries from patients, team members, nursing staff, and visitors.
• Reallocate team members during staffing shortages.
• Communicate and collaborate with staff, peers, and leadership to promote transparency, teamwork, and operational efficiency.
• Share information proactively, support problem-solving, and contribute to a culture of trust, respect, and continuous improvement.
• Complete supplementary duties as directed by management, including tasks not explicitly listed.
• Address team members professionally and appropriately and work effectively in a high-volume food service environment.
