About The Position
The Nutrition Intern will work side by side with a company Nutritionist and assist in areas including formulation, production, research, safety, and quality to implement process improvement initiatives. The role involves communicating appropriately with staff and management to support a collaborative work environment during process changes. The internship provides exposure to how animal nutrition and the feed business interrelate, as well as knowledge of feed formulation, industry regulations, and research applications in feed.
Requirements
- Be a college junior or senior working toward a degree in animal science, nutrition, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Be able to commute to Upper Sandusky, Ohio.
Responsibilities
- Assist nutritionists with day-to-day objectives and projects.
- Assist with data entry and tasks for research studies.
- Complete ad hoc projects and tasks as assigned by nutritionists.
