About The Position

The Johnson County Aging & Human Services (AHS) Department is seeking a dynamic and energetic Nutrition Data Entry/Administrative Clerk who can touch lives and make a difference. The Johnson County Area Agency on Aging Nutrition Program is a team of approximately 25 staff who provide nutritious meals and other supports to 3500 older adults in the community. The Nutrition Data Entry/Administrative Clerk is responsible for helping ensure our Home-Delivered Meal participants receive the services and support they need. The role communicates with participants, coordinates service updates, maintains accurate records, enters and manages important program data, assists with reporting, and supports the day-to-day operations of the Nutrition Program.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • May require KS/MO driver’s license, depending on department or agency.
  • Johnson County Government requires reference/background screening for all positions.

Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming nutrition calls and complete follow-ups with Home-Delivered Meal participants.
  • Log Home-Delivered Meal participants changes and communicate to appropriate staff.
  • Process cancellation or hold on service requests.
  • Create and maintain participant files, including archiving closed files per county policy/procedure.
  • Accurately data enter the Home-Delivered Meal information into the data management system ServTracker.
  • Review Abbreviated Uniform Assessment Instruments (AUAI) and Uniform Program Registration (UPR) documents to ensure that all required entries have been documented on the forms.
  • Accurately data enter AUAI and UPR forms and plan of care information into KAMIS within the time deadlines prescribed by the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS).
  • Data-enter participant information updates including changes to plans of care and termination of services, within the time guidelines prescribed by KDADS.
  • Complete monthly data reporting.
  • Deliver Home-Delivered Meal routes as needed.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.
