About The Position

The Nursing Support Tech II participates as a member of the healthcare team in delivering high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department. Under the supervision of a registered nurse, the NST performs delegated patient care and procedures; observes, reports, and records patient conditions and information; and assists the healthcare team with specific treatments and procedures in the acute care facility.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Current C.N.A. license on file with the state of Maryland.
• Healthcare Provider-level CPR.

Responsibilities

• Participate as a member of the healthcare team in delivering high-quality patient care.
• Perform delegated patient care and procedures under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Observe, report, and record patient conditions and information.
• Assist the healthcare team with specific treatments and procedures in the acute care facility.
