Requirements
- Registered Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing and licensed to administer medication.
- Active in good standing Registered Nurse license in the State of Washington.
- Minimum of 3 years’ working experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Minimum of 1 year of previous supervisor experience in a healthcare environment.
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in Mental health, chemical dependency, rehabilitation.
- Experience with electronic charting.
- Knowledge of local resources and services for individuals who are homeless or low-income and those experiences chronic behavioral health challenges or having histories of involvement in legal system(s).
- At least 1 of year experience in a residential setting dealing with chemical dependent or clients with mental health concerns
Responsibilities
- Providing quality health care services to all residents including assessing somatic conditions, delivering medications according to procedure and creating a favorable group climate for the effective treatment of each resident in treatment.
- Suggesting and recommending changes in program, policy and procedure in collaboration with the Nursing Manager.
- Providing high quality services under the least restrictive conditions feasible.
- Performing day-to-day supervision of the nurse staff (and health coordinators – depending on location).
- Performing administrative and supervisory tasks to support the provision of quality and cost effective medical/behavioral health services.
