About The Position

St. Ann’s Community is seeking experienced RN Nursing Supervisors for its Irondequoit and Webster communities. The primary purpose of the position is to plan, organize, and direct or manage nursing services for residents. The role includes clinical assessment and care coordination, unit rounds, incident follow-up, staff performance appraisal support, participation in training and conferences, and following organizational policies and procedures. Weekend 12-hour shifts are offered, either 7 a.m.–7 p.m. or 7 p.m.–7 a.m.

Requirements

Valid New York State RN license.
Associate degree required.
Ten years of nursing experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree preferred.
Long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform management and clinical assessments, including assessing residents and facilitating care when their conditions change.
Make general rounds on each unit and evaluate residents listed on the resident condition report.
Report concerns to the Lead Supervisor when needed.
Complete incident reports and follow up on incidents that occur during the shift.
Assist with appraisals of nursing personnel performance.
Participate in conferences, in-house trainings, and in-services.
May interview applicants for nursing supervisor positions and make hiring recommendations.
Follow applicable organizational policies and procedures.
