About The Position

The Manager of Endoscopy directs patient care in the department and manages department staff. The manager consults with staff, physicians, and the Nurse Executive about nursing issues and the interpretation of hospital policies to ensure patient needs are met. The role maintains departmental performance improvement activities and assists with the formulation of the department budget.

Requirements

• Current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification upon hire and maintenance of current certification.
• At least two years of supervisory or management experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Current ACLS certification upon hire and maintenance of current certification.
• At least two years of Endoscopy experience.
• Current PALS certification for facilities caring for a pediatric population.

Nice To Haves

• CNOR certification.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care in the Endoscopy department.
• Manage department staff members.
