PT Nursing Lab Aide
About The Position
The Part-time Nursing Lab Aide is responsible for assisting department staff and faculty in the classroom, clinical, vehicular and learning lab settings. This position requires assisting with the preparation and setup of training equipment, supporting practical skills labs and examinations, and organizing and inventorying medical supplies. The role also involves performing other related duties as assigned. Cochise College requires a post-offer, pre-employment background screening for all employees. Requirements
- Associate’s degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning recognized by the US Department of Education
- An equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved may be considered.
- Knowledge of and ability to follow college policies and procedures
- Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, and to relate to others in a professional, helpful manner
- Ability to relate to a diverse population and to maintain composure when faced with difficult situations
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other department staff, faculty, students and the public
