About The Position

Marlborough Hills Rehabilitation & Health Care Center is hiring per diem cooks at $22 per hour, with weekly pay. The Cook prepares food to ensure quality food service at all times under the direction of the Director of Dining Services. The facility follows federal and state staff-vaccination guidelines and requires staff to be up to date with COVID and flu vaccinations or acknowledge a declination.

Requirements

• One year of dietary experience in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility is preferred but not necessary; training may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Follow therapeutic diets ordered by the physician.
• Ensure food is served at the proper temperature.
• Maintain the visual appeal of food.
• Monitor daily nourishments and follow standardized recipes.
• Ensure proper portion control.
• Follow sanitation and storage policies and procedures.
