Nursing Assistant - Float Pool Full-time Night
About The Position
The Nursing Assistant - Float Pool position at Providence St. Joseph Hospital in Eureka, CA is a Full-Time role working 12-hour Night shifts. The Nursing Assistant uses intellectual, interpersonal, and technical skills to provide basic patient care. Under the supervision of the Assistant Nurse Manager, Charge Nurse, or RN, the Nursing Assistant assists with routine, direct bedside care for patients of various ages as defined by the department scope of service. Duties include personal hygiene, data collection and observation, vital signs, intake and output (I&O), equipment use, Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), documenting on the medical record, answering call lights, and recognizing and responding to emergency situations. Requirements
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association (within 30 days of hire)
Nice To Haves
- Nursing Assistant certification (upon hire)
- Acute care or specialty experience
