About The Position
Munson Healthcare is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patient care in the community. Nursing assistants are essential members of the care team, providing comfort and helping clinical staff deliver care. The role includes a paid orientation and training program for candidates without experience. This position is PRN and covers PM/night shifts.
Requirements
- Obtain and maintain CPR certification in adult maneuvers at all times; child and infant CPR may be required by some departments.
- May be required to lift more than 35 pounds.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care and services to meet patients’ personal and comfort needs.
- Complete personal hygiene care.
- Collect specimens.
- Assist patients with walking and exercise.
- Transport patients between departments.
- Observe, report, and record patient vital signs.
