About The Position
Are you a passionate student nurse looking to gain hands-on experience in a supportive and dynamic healthcare environment? Our Nurse Technician role offers a unique opportunity to work directly with patients under the guidance of experienced Registered Nurses and Unit Managers. As a Nurse Technician, you'll play a vital role in delivering compassionate care while continuing your nursing education. This position is ideal for students who have completed their junior year in a bachelor’s degree program or the first year of an associate’s degree in nursing.
Requirements
- Completion of junior year (BSN) or first year (ADN)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella
- Receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate care to patients under the guidance of experienced Registered Nurses and Unit Managers.
- Gain hands-on experience in a supportive and dynamic healthcare environment.
- Continue nursing education while working.
