About The Position

The Nursing Assistant provides services to assigned residents in accordance with care plans and facility policies and procedures, under the direction of supervisors. The employee must become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) within three months of hire. This position is located in Owensville, Missouri, and is described as a nights position.

Requirements

• Must become a CNA within three months of hire.
• Must have at least a 10th-grade education; a high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication competencies.
• Background and experience in shared decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide assigned residents with compassionate routine daily nursing care and services.
• Attend and participate in scheduled training and educational classes to obtain Nursing Assistant certification.
• Assist residents with daily dental, mouth, bathing, and other care functions as necessary.
• Prepare residents for meals and serve food.
• Record residents' food and fluid intake.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
