About The Position

OhioHealth Rehabilitation Hospital, a joint venture/partnership/affiliation with Select Medical, is hiring a Nursing Assistant for its inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Dublin, Ohio. The hospital provides care for individuals facing the medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges associated with brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputations, and multiple traumas. This is a full-time night-shift position paying $18.05–$22.00 per hour, with a $3,000 sign-on bonus. The Nursing Assistant supports patients with vital-sign measurement, personal care, meals, safe positioning, mobility, and transportation. Requirements

High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience of at least 3 years.
BLS certification is required within 90 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

Hospital experience as a nursing assistant.
Nursing assistant certification.
Experience in a related field, such as medical assistant experience or active enrollment as an RN student.

Responsibilities

Obtain vital signs, height, weight, and demographic data.
Assist patients with personal and daily care, including bathing, oral hygiene, shaving, and hair care.
Deliver meals and snacks, feed patients who are unable to feed themselves, and document oral intake.
Safely turn and position immobile patients while maintaining proper body alignment, and participate in the mobility program.
Transport patients to designated areas, including to and from treatment centers.
